• 200 g oyster mushrooms
• 1 dl water
• 100 g unflavoured cream cheese (e.g. Valio Viola maustamaton or Philadelphia)
• Black pepper
Rip the mushrooms in smaller pieces. Pour the water with the mushrooms in a hot pan so that the mushrooms won’t stick on the bottom. Add straight on the cream cheese and crumble some black pepper from the pepper mill. Let the sauce stir with medium or low heat for about 10-15 minutes until the sauce is perfectly thick to your taste.
Taste and add some pepper and salt if necessary.
This sauce gives delicious taste as a burger bun filling! It works also as an extremely easy, fast and tasty sauce for pasta, rice, quinoa or couscous.
Try also the flavoured cream cheese for a change.
